The more I learn about the Kirby franchise... The more times I am convinced that Nintendo wanted to develop a Lovecraftian horror game but couldn't because they had a family-friendly status quo.
I was chatting with my buddy @minnesotamedic186 earlier ago about Smash and she was telling me how the boss fight with Marx scared her.

You mean to tell me... that this cute little game about a cute little ball of sunshine that gobbles up everything in sight...

You know what, I know I sound so flabbergasted that I must be really pissed, but in actuality, I'm in love with this franchise!
There is so much potential for Kirby to be a goddamn horror game and I want to capsulate that potential through art.
